After gaining years of hands-on experience, Rick decided to take a leap of faith and start his own business. His goal was clear: build high-quality fences and decks while having the flexibility to spend more time with his sons and support their love of the outdoors.
The company’s roots only grew stronger when Rick reconnected with his old friend Christa and eventually became a lifelong partnership in both marriage and business. Together, Rick and Christa built not just a company, but a close-knit, family-run operation.
As their blended family of six children grew, so did the business. Over the years, each of their kids has played a role in helping Southern Magnolia Fence Company thrive.
